Wellness is a holistic integration of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, fueling the body, engaging the mind, and nurturing the spirit. Whereas, wholeness is the quality of being or feeling complete and not divided or damaged
According to the American Survey Center, "Disaffiliated Americans express significant skepticism about the societal benefits of religion, even more than those who have never identified with a religious tradition". We are spiritual beings because we are made in the image of God (He is Spirit), so that area needs to be fulfilled to acquire wholeness
Holism is any attitude toward explanation that places emphasis on the importance of a whole system as against that of its individual parts
In terms of nutrition, wholism (a term adopted by Professor T Colin Campbell from the similar and better-known term “holism”) deals with whole diet and its effects on the whole person
According to Harvard School of Public Health, "the double burden of under-nutrition and over-nutrition is the leading cause of death and disability worldwide, and is a major impediment to population health and human and economic development"
According to the World Health Organization, "nutrition is the main cause of death and disease in the world"
The survey by NPR, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health showed that the percentage of households reporting serious financial problems rose to 59% when they had an income under $50K per year, where 30% of them said that they lost all savings during the coronavirus pandemic
The CreditWise Survey from December 2020 indicated that finances are the No.1 cause of stress (73%) - being reported as a major cause of stress more often than politics (59%), work (49%) and family (46%)
According to the Center for Healthy Living (CHL), "health issues then present increased medical expenses, which worsen already tight money situations"
According to the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute, "in England alone over 1.5 million people are experiencing both problem debt and mental health problems"
"All of the flowers of all our tomorrows are in the seeds of today"
